WWP programs promote college and career readiness by providing students with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in working with digital media and technology. In addition, WWP connects students with industry professionals and college interns who help promote pathways to higher education and new careers.
WWP students have been featured in various media outlets including:
- WBEZ’s ‘Afternoon Shift’
- Chicago Tribune
- The Mash
- Vocolo Radio’s ‘The Barber Shop Show’
- CAN-TV’s – ‘Hotline Series’
WWP is in residency at Amundsen Park, located at 6200 W. Bloomingdale, as part of the Arts Partners in Residence program that unites artists and communities in Chicago’s parks.
In 2014 WWP launched its Sports Reporting program in conjunction with Amundsen Park’s Youth Development sports league, providing exposure and new opportunities to area youth. (Check out our calendar for upcoming sessions).
